2019 TTP Try Outs

Team Pride will host a Try Out for grades Tryouts: Tennessee Team Pride Girls Basketball Club will offer a Tryout Sunday, January 27th at Hooptown.
Grades 2nd-4th will be from 3-5 pm.
Grades 5th-8th* will be from 5-7 pm.

The final tryout date for the younger grades will be Sunday February 10th.

*6-8th grade players on a middle school team that have finished their season can also attend.

We will have 2 or 3 teams in most age groups. Games start in March.

There is no cost for tryouts.

TTP members will have free workouts and open gyms throughout the Winter.

*High school teams will tryouts in March.

TN Team Pride will host an AAU district qualifier for grades 3rd-11th on March 23-25.

Fall 3 on 3 league Girls

Games start Friday October 20, 2017
Girls and Boys K-2nd play from 5:00-6:15
Girls 3rd-4th play from 6:30-8:00
Boys 3rd-4th play from 6:30-8:00

The Fall 3 v 3 league is designed to teach the game by keeping all the players actively involved during practices drills and game play. The practices and games will occur on the same day.  Practices will stress ball handling, defense, passing, spacing, cutting, screening and shooting. Additionally the coaches will help develop good sportsmanship, coachable players, great teammates, solid work ethic and love of the game.
Each player will receive a jersey. Games are played on 9 ft rims with 28.5″ ball. (8ft for k-1st).

4 Week Athleticism Booster

This is a comprehensive program that involves dynamic flexibility, movement preparation, footwork, strength training, and agility training. This program will run for 4 weeks consisting of 3 workouts per week. It focuses on multi-joint exercises and movements (skipping, hopping, jumping, lunging, squatting, pushing, pulling, throwing, and twisting) and using appropriate loads. The workouts should be challenging, yet fun and engaging with the goal of building great training habits and a solid foundation of proper movement.
Grades 4th-8th. 4-5 PM at Hooptown Monday, Wednesday and Friday. $5 per player.
